Hi all,
Sorry for posting this lame questions, but I have phurchased an notebook with norwegian keyboard, meaning that 3 chars on the keybord are different from the swedish language.
So does anybody know how to change letters and if possible at all?
Is it just enough to install the swedish keyboard layout or are norweigan letters hardcoded on keyboard?

And if hardcoded, has to be a way to change the symbols right?

Well, I just checked the layouts of both the Swedish and the Norwegian keyboards. The only major difference I can find is that æ is replaced by ä and ø by ö, so just change your keyboard layout from Norwegian to Swedish in System → Preferences → Keyboard and you're set.

The two layouts:

I also compared the Norwegian layout to the Danish one and found that the æ and the ø had switched places. What a stupid design decision not to keep coherence when we're using the same alphabet...

I agree, but the best thing would have been if we all spoke swedish and used åäö =)
Thank you very much for your help and answers!
Did not think it would be that easy....

Många tack!
