in listen, there are a load of different sections like this

one of them gets wikipedia info, another gets lyrics for the song. i think it would be amazingly useful to have one that automatically downloads guitar/bass/drum tabs off of tab sites for the current song.

obviously only one for the musicians among us, but it would be such an awesome convenience. you hear a song you like the sound of, and the tab is just a click away.

i dont know if this has been done or is even possible at the moment but i thought i'd share my idea.

Nice feature. Already available in Amarok with scripts, though I didn't test it yet...

In Quod Libet it should be easy to do by modifying the existing plugins.

i really wish the media players would allow the user to flag wikipedia entries, lyrics, and album covers THAT ARE COMPLETELY AND TOTALLY WRONG. after downloading the covers of simon & garfunkels box set, i am stuck with a cover of carly simon's album instead. i've also had lyrics for some unknown band when i've been playing Lovelife by Lush.
there should be an option to either select ones own source or have the ability to change a wikipedia entry etc if its wrong. then again, this is open source, so i guess i can do that myself.

ohh coolo

i have tried pretty much every media player for gnome and i hate all of them. listen annoys me the least and has some good features tho. amarok rules. when kde4 comes i am going to jump sides again ;)
