View Full Version : New Users Team: Face To Face Support Signup!

January 18th, 2007, 03:49 AM
We are proud to start accepting signups for the New Users' Team Face to Face Support project.

Face to Face Support aims to provide free local support for new or prospect users of Ubuntu, by other local users of Ubuntu. By providing free support, we are enabling others to have peace of mind knowing they have someone they can turn to for help, whether just for troubleshooting or basic how to's (such as installing software).

If you are a part of the NU Team and would like to sign your name up for supporting Ubuntu in your local area, please visit the NU Team wiki and sign your name!

And of course, if you'd like to join the NU Team and help us break new ground in support, check out our NU Team Wiki and and if you'd like to sign up for the NU Team check out the team's Launchpad :)

Are there any Cleveland people doing this? I am more than willing to barter fine (greasy) meals around the the West Side/Parma/Brooklyn area for some help figuring out linux...Which I am not doing to good at by myself...Let me know...

Me and DM| have been using Gizmo, and I found that it has conference call support + this feature for auto dialing certain numbers

example: this is the number 1222 + and combination of numbers.

I used 12228286886 which is 1-222-ubuntu-o

now if you goto preferences > Dialing > and associate a symbol listed you type in for example here ! and it dials 12228286886!

Phone chat support BWAAAW!
