Which gnome applets do you use?

Aside from the ones that come default that is. I use deskbar, weather, and tomboy.

i use these. they are(from l to r): show desktop, notifications are(showing gdeklets running), system monitor, gnome sensor applet(showing temperature graph), hardware monitor(showing RAM usage), gnome-search-tool, gconf-editor, terminal, day planner, tomboy, firefox, gtodo, gnome stickynotes, volume applet, and force quit.

I use to have the Show Desktop button at the far right but then I installed Brightside which lets me just throw my cursor to the corner to show the desktop. I also used to have the Workspace switcher but now I just switch workspaces using keyboard hotkeys.

Not much besides the default, just Deskbar in the lower right corner and System Monitor, Tomboy, and Netapplet in the upper right.

As for shortcuts I just have a few for epiphany, evolution, geany and synaptic.

I don't change very much. I use the defaults and then add Tomboy, System Monitor and Network Monitor, and I've also recently started adding the Deskbar too.

Other shortcuts I add are for Amarok and Liferea.

i think that's it. i have got another really cool one though called Desktop Recorder. it records my desktop and puts the output on the desktop when it's finished :cool:

i think i tried that before and it won't compile. the "deskbar" is the only alternative, but it's a memory hog.

Nm-applet. Wasn't sure if it would work with Fluxbox, but it does. Very useful.
