Amarok 1.4.4 tagging with musicbrainz doesn't work

Hi, I am an amarok user since Dapper...and I isntalled it on that good with all features...

now I have an issue with musicbrainz...I installed libtunepimp3, libtunepimp3-bin, libtunepimp3-perl, libtunepimp3-mp3...

but it doesn't find any track from musicbrainz database

any ideas?

I don't know if anything changed on Edgy, but I remember that the musicbrainz library was not compiled with mp3 support on Dapper (because of patents related to mp3 decoding). The workaround to enable mp3 tagging can be found on the Kubuntu forum:
