does anybody know how to apply emacs key-bindings in the kile editor? or, for that matter, the same matter for texmaker?

Sorry to bump this old thread, but does anyone have a solution? I too find the emacs key-bindings super convenient.

As far as I can tell, there's nothing yet. It would probably be best to take this up with the Kile team, but I don't have time to do it.
