Hi,

I would like to invest something in the region of 400 into a laptop and would ideally want to go for an IBM/Lenovo laptop. More important, however, is that it has an nvidia card, mobile processor and good wlan (with wpa support) capabilities. Internal modem would be nice but not necessary.

Any advice out there?

Cheers in advance

That is the plan, there are also enough companies flogging old leasing machines. However, which ones are better suited to Linux? That is what I'm really after...

HP and IBM seem to work well with Linux

Best to look at it component by component. Thinkpads are best though.
