As some may expect when we really get into tweaking things, we can tend to break things,....that is the beauty of Linux,....we learn as we go along....
I have thus far broken my KDE desktop....and for the last version of Sabayon I repaired this with the Sabayon Live DVD....
This time I broke Beryl.....so I am using the 6th Sense to repair Sabayon 3.26.
(below are some screenshots of how to do this)

That's encouraging, but I could never get Anaconda to work in KDE. It worked fine if I booted in install mode and used whatever it is they use by default (fluxbox, I think).

Must have been 3.25c, because it worked fine just now in 3.26. By the way, I installed again. Now I'm getting error 15 from GRUB for both Windows and Ubuntu (my first two partitions). :/

Instead of Grub maybe try GAG (http://gag.sourceforge.net/).
It graphical, very easy to install & configure.

Solution: reinstall Ubuntu. Now Windows, Ubuntu and Sabayon work fine. :)
I can boot but Beryl is a different story. Works fine the first time, crashes from that point on.

Did you upgrade to the 2.x version of Beryl? I have noticed many people (including me) had problems with emerald and the Beryl Settings Manager.
