I was just wondering, if there have ever been, or are being developed something equivalent of wine, but instead of running Windows apps running OS X apps?

If you really need an OSX program I think it will run under Vmware

no, i have never heard of one (and i have been around the linux on macs scene of a good while).

if you need to run mac os/ mac os x software on linux you can use mac-os-linux, to run the whole mac os in a virtual machine (similar to vmware for windows). mol only runs on powerpc computers, and you need an installed mac os/mac os x on a partition.

Don't think so and it will probably never happen. Mac is a much faster moving target than Windows because their response to backwards compatibility is 'What?'.

It's a difficult task keeping up with Win32 forget Mac. Not to mention the comparative benefits.
