apparently the latest drivers have preliminary r600 support and a couple of other cards not yet released, could this finally mean those who buy ati's latest and greatest don't have to wait a couple of months for drivers?? So far looks like AMDs acquisition of ATI is a bit of good news so far for us linux users.
