Network controlled audio player

Hello everyone!

I am looking for a program to run on my music server which can be controlled via the local network. The server will act like a stereo and friends can change sound files etc.

I checked out mp3blaster and moc, but none of them has this controlling ability.
Anyone know of a program I can use? (can be a gui one aswell)

$ sudo apt-get install mpd
