After last night's "upgrade" I've been trying to login to my favorite auction off useless crap site. But when I get to the secure login page
https://signin.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?SignIn&co_partnerId=2&pUserId=&siteid=0&pageType=&pa1=&i1=&bshowgif=&UsingSSL=&ru=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com&pp=&pa2=&errmsg=&runame=&ruparams=&ruproduct=&sid=&favoritenav=&migrateVisitor=

I get the message:

Firefox and srv.main.ebayrtm.com cannot communicate securely because they have no common encryption algorithms.

Can anybody say WTF? Did the ebay site suddenly change it's secure servers? Anyone else expirence this?

I got the same error not 10-15 minutes ago. I didn't think much about it since I dont use eBay anymore but was just loggin in for some quick info. It would be a problem though if encryption between firefox & eBay no longer works! I wonder if they have any info at the firefox forums...

I guess this is a bigger problem than I thought. There is a petition you can sign to help change some of ebay's code. However it seems unrelated to this specific issue. GL to all.

BTW: I am able to login, however apparently only unsecurely. I bet M$ has something to do with this.

http://pages.ebay.co.uk/firefox/ ... from today they have a Firefox plug-in so are becoming more Firefox aware already.

Has anyone got that new plugin to work?

I'm using 64bit 2.0.0.6 (Ubuntu version) and it won't connect when I click on the button or select it from the drop down menu. Nothing happens at all.
