Hi, sorry if you all know about this but when my partner and I went to WB Movieworld (http://www.movieworld.com.au/home/homepage.cfm) last week for our nephew's 13th birthday I stumbled across Tux Racer in a full-blown arcade machine!!
I am sorry for the picture quality but I only had a phone on me! Just thought I would share my find as I was really excited! (So much that my other half thought I was odd!) Didnt know they had made a linux game into a regular arcade machine :-D

I had no idea either, well, that is a step to silencing the 'no linux games' argumant then ^_^

Yeah, it's been around for ages. It's actually a kind of fork of Tux Racer.

I've played Tux Racer before and I don't remember there being some of those cool tracks like there were in Lord Illidan's post. Those must be from the deluxe commercial edition. I remember seeing it for sale in the CNR store when I used Freespire. Someone should take the commercial edition and release it for free. It is GPL.

Hey queen_yoshi!
At the local mall, yesterday I was surprised to find Tux racer! I played in it a bit, and I noticed that people like this game a lot.
