Whatever happened to that "Other Distros" thread I see referenced in the DeadCD thread, I thought that was a good idea but it was quickly forgotten it seems... :-k

All these threads "I'm downloading this or that distro" are really starting to clutter up the forum again. Most of them could probably do with just a link in a single thread, there's no need to copy the entire contents of the distro's respective webpages. Those who are interested will click the link, simple as that.

I actually like the blurbs and info. I don't consider it clutter, especially with so many distros. It is confusing.

RAV is doing a bang-up job and I hope he and others continue.

For what it's worth, I installed lg3d from synaptic on DreamLinux 2.2 Multimedia Edition.
It seems that on Debian systems, what's in the repos is the best way to go.
