View Full Version : Should I try to install Lineage 2 on Ubuntu or not?

First of all I will soon pass to Edgy...so I may install Windows too (if I want),

I like Lineage 2 very much, but playing with wine is always difficult even if I already read Dapper users got working.

Now by now I have 512MB RAM and an intel express graphic controller 915...so I usually played on winXP with ET,Quake3,Fifa Rugby 2006...

on Ubuntu Dapper I use i810 driver and I play Open Arena,Cube and these games...

The question is...

Is better to wait and install it on a WinXP partition (to be created) or to try making it run in Ubuntu?

See if you can get it working in Wine. It shouldn't be too hard. Quake should work on Ubuntu natively, I think. That's made by the same guys who make Doom and Unreal Tournament, right? If so, it works on Ubuntu natively.
