No, the answer is no.

95% of the World users of a computer have a Windows OS. And I think that the free software will have a future first on Windows then in another OS, like Linux. The mind revolution is alway slow. I propose you a nice Website that list the best Free softwares for Windows. http://www.freewebs.com/freesofts4win/ (http://www.freewebs.com/freesofts4win/)
Try it and tell your "Windows" friends, perhaps they will begin changing their minds...

Bye

That's one way of getting people to switch. If you slowly introduce them to Free Software in Windows versions, then switching to Linux is easier. If they've been using Firefox and Thunderbird for their web and email (I still don't understand the point behind Thunderbird, Evolution, and Outlook....just type in gmail.com! you can get it from other people's computers too then!) and OOo for their office suite (why pay $400???), then they don't have to relearn new apps on Linux.

By the way, if Mac has 3% of desktops and Linux has 3% of desktops and Linux/BSD have >60% of servers, what percent of computers run Windows again? I've heard estimates at around 80%.

Okay, I'm going to go out on a limb and call the original post trollish spam and so I'm closing the thread.
