Does anyone use this? It's open-source virtualization, and there's a linux download available on their site. It looks pretty cool, and I'll be trying it when I get home.

I d/l'd it a while back to test at work. I never got around to it, but I was turned off by their incessant spamming. Since we have VMware already, have kinda "back-burnered" it. But please let us know how you see it. :)

Did you try this, and if so, what was it like?

It's alright...I didn't use it for very long. Installation failed the first time, so I was a bit put off by it. I find VirtualBox to be much better. http://www.virtualbox.org

For the record, VirtualIron has absolutely no support for Ubuntu - the Dapper discs won't even show up on the VDI console.

And, frankly, it's crap software anyway (at least, their 'Extended Enterprise Edition' is) - it's slow, clunky and a pain to set up.

Meh, VMWare & Virtual Box have pretty much gotten themselves into being the defacto virtualization standards. Even Xen has taken a back seat...
