View Full Version : Canonical helping out GNOME

I just came across this, thought it might be interesting (and I can't find a previous thread about it). It looks like Canonical are helping out the GNOME project with a server (http://live.gnome.org/SubversionMigration), which will be used for Subversion:

We have a new, dedicated Subversion server, graciously provided and hosted by Canonical Ltd, in London, UK. Thanks again to the guys at Canonical for this. (scroll down a bit to see the quote, under "How far have we got?")

1) Very nice on the part of Canonical: supporting worthy FOSS projects (in any way and amount) is always good to hear, and

2) Congrats to the GNOME people for migrating to Subversion from CVS.
