Hi guys,
I like to present to you: the sexiest server on the planet.
Specs: ASUS8400 L series. Processor:850mhz P3. RAM:192MB. Graphics adapter: savage with 64MB shared memory.
OK I know, these specs suck. It's just a stupid old laptop. So what's sexy about it?
Well...
it runs Edgy (6.10) server as a LAMP, and boots in 30 seconds. It also has ftp configured. This laptop will be my personal web server.
OK, so it runs a server.
AND a desktop environement. Fluxbox on xde. Hey, I'm new at this stuff so the first time around setting a server from terminal only is pretty tough. I also installed the most important Automatix2 multimedia packages. Nothing beats a good bit of rock&roll while administrating a server.
OK, so you installed a LAMP server, and set it to boot to a leightweight DE. So what's sexy about it?
...
It has a Jenna James background.
I had this conversation yesterday with a pretty close friend. I saw it in action and it works like a charm. Just curious about comments from the Ubuntu-community (altho I expect little approval ;) )
