I've been off-line for a while so haven't had a chance to post. I thought I'd just pass by today to wish you all a Happy New Year. I hope you've all got something fun lined up to see this year out and the new one in...

There's lots (and lots) for us to do in the year ahead; lets make 2007 a break through year for Ubuntu in Kenya! :)

Hopefully internet usage will increase this year in Kenya! (and hopefully the cost of internet would also go down...).
Anyways, late happy new year!

Go to :
1.Applications
2.Add/Remove Programs
3.Search for "codec"
4. Check GStreamer extra plugins and GStreamer ffmpeg video plugin

To all members and well-wishers: May this year see your dreams come true!

Personally, my dream for ubuntu kenya is that more guys to join us and ubuntu to be a house hold name. I have a ubuntu sticker in each of my university's black book, last year guys would meet me in the corridors and ask, "what is ubuntu? is it got to do with the bantus?" But this year,"How is canonical and Mark Shuttleworth intending to make money with ubuntu when my cousin received a shipment of 5 CDs absolutely free?" or "Hi ronald, can you just tell me something about Open Source?"

Well guys, can we just say that this year that we are back with a bang!!!
