They're first shipping to people who DIDN'T get Warty, then shipping to those who did. So it could be a while.

And for future reference, this section is just for the ubuntuFORUMS.org, not ubuntuLINUX.org, just FYI :)

I haven't gotten my Hoary cd's yet. I didn't order Warty. When they should arrive here, I live in Finland...

Ditto. I ordered a CD for the first time months ago and nothing yet. This is very frustrating as I want to see Ubuntu in action. My order information is correct so what's holding it up? Waiting, waiting . . . .

Couple of points here.

First is, check out what panickedthumb said above, this explains (to some extent) why many people have not got their cd's yet.
Second is that, again as panickedthumb says, this is not the best place to ask. Have a look on the Shipit FAQ (http://www.ubuntulinux.org/support/documentation/faq/shipit/).
Third is just to suggest some alternatives: if you want to install Ubuntu and can't wait for the CD's, the following alternatives are available:

Download the ISO (http://releases.ubuntu.com/) and burn it to a blank cd (only if you have a decent internet connection and a cd writer)
find a friend who can do the above
contact your local Ubuntu team (http://www.ubuntulinux.org/wiki/LoCoTeamList) and ask if they have CDs available or can find someone to do 1 for you

hope this helps!

Another option is to order your CD's from somewhere that sell's them. There are places on the Internet that sell Linux CD's for about $5 per CD. They will ship quickly I imagine.

Complaining about a service that is free of charge is not a good idea. I am sure they are doing their best to get all the CD's shipped. Most people can afford either to 1) download or 2) pay $5 for their CD's so it would be best to just go that route instead of using ShipIt and leave ShipIt to those that really need it.

And yes, I should not have replied to this post because it was posted in the wrong forum. :-\"

Just want to report that I finally got my disks yesterday, June 21 (Texas). YEA! Should have time today to give it a whirl. It's really appreciated as I could never download the ISOs on dialup!!

I got my CDs today. (June 21, Sweden. Right now the time is 5:50 PM here.) I didn't order warty, and I sent in my order of Hoary about a week after the release or something like that.
