I wanted to know an easy way to install Edgy on a MacBook - the new C2D one (not MacBook Pro)

Does anyone know how to do it natively *without* parallels??

[EDIT]

Anybody home?? :)

[2ND EDIT]

I presume noone knows how to do so, then?!...

I don't have a Mac, but from what I have seen, as long as it is an Intel one, it looks like you just install it the same way as on a PC. Just be sure to watch out for the large number of disk partitions OSX puts on there. There should be a guide on the Ubuntu Wiki.

Actually it is not as simple as a generic x86 as far as I am aware, due to PC using antique creaky old BIOS technology, and Apple having adopted "EFI" - E.xtensible F.irmware I.nterface.

This is as much as I know regarding this - just would be handy to know that *if* I had a use for Ubuntu, I could install it without too much hassle.

Happy Holidays!! :D
