I got some euros since me and my gf is going to Paris on holiday. I also got a knife sharpener (??), a book on digital photography, a cd by The Saints (Australian punk) and some socks. Yeah, and some used books by Charles Dickens and a bottle of cognac.

I gave my mother a thermos. I lost hers some 2-3 years ago and she's been bugging me with getting it back ;) and I got my sisters a jigsaw puzzle and a book each. Dad also got a book and tickets to the theatre.

Nice Christmas so far I just have to remember to drink more beer and not eat so much cause my stomach is getting big! :-k

Hope you all have a nice holiday :D

Good to see other climbers here :D Here in Holland we don't have mountains but in the summer I'll probably visit france for climbing.

I got nothing for xmas by the way, it's not really a tradition here. We just have dinner with friends and family.

I got two TFT screens (an Acer 17" and an Octigen [generic brand] 19" widecreen) for my home studio, because I cant work without two screens..........plus Beryl looks cool on it :D

It also helps as I have no TV, only a DVB-T USB dongle, so my DVD player, and TV are all on the computer, so the 19" widescreen was bought partly for that purpose.

I also got a set of Beyer Dynamic DT100's, superbly clear headphones, again for the studio.

Also I got Drumkit From Hell 2, which is a set of drum samples (amazing sounding ones)

So yeah, mainly studio stuff, but I did get a huge chocolate bar....which is now finished.

I did get to cook the Christmas Dinner though, which I was looking forward to and enjoyed.

I suppose I should add that I sorta gave myself an early Christmas present when my girlfriend and I took a trip in August to climb the Grand Teton in Wyoming :-D

If you ever get the chance, I would HIGHLY reccomend it! We hired a guide, since we didn't quite have enough outdoor mountaineering experience to do it ourselves (and we were quite glad we didn't go ourselves). That was one HELL of a trip!

I got the following:

-Rayman Raving Rabbids for Wii
-Boxers depicting a Google parody
-$25 gift card for a local computer store
-Laptop cooling fan
-Jeans
-$25 gift card for Wal-Mart
-Frogger plug-and-play game
-Wallet

I spent the Wal-Mart gift card and some cash for Wii points (for downloading games) and Classic Controllers (for playing some downloadable games). If the computer store doesn't have the used Mac that I looked at the last time I went there, I might spend the gift card on an 3.5" SATA hard drive enclosure and a 320GB hard drive for storing all my torrent downloads, ROMs, MP3s, and pictures because I'm dual-booting Windows and Ubuntu on my laptop.

Edit: Called the computer store and the person said the Mac was still there.
