Just to let you guys know the official fedora core 6 live cd is out, full story here http://distrowatch.com/?newsid=03926#0. It seems pretty cool especially for those of you who want to try out the AIGLX and Compiz off of a live cd.

They have the most useless Compiz configuration though, just an On/Off, Wobbly: On/Off and Cube: On/Off :|

It's great for people who need to use Fedora for their Linux/Unix courses at school and don't want to ruin the installation of their current operating system. I am planning on giving this disc to the instructor who teaches the Linux class at my college. Just don't expect any MP3 support or drivers for some hardware on the live CD.

I'm downloading right now to try it out on my lappy.

Is it just me or that my Fedora Core 6 live CD goes right into grub and lets me do nothing but grub commands?

I stuck with FC5. FC6 is bug ridden. Maybe not the LiveCD, but the install is.
