I'll start with mine:

Just wondering I have a Intel EM64T (dual core)...I was wondering about similar performance with your system
I have an Intel EM64T with hyper-threading, which as I understand emulates a dual-core in some way. One which I don't understand.

In any case, the performance is very good, even without the SMP enabled kernel (which enables hyper-threading). I don't have any benchmarks to compare, but I'm quite satisfied with the speed.

It is mostly due to laziness, but I enjoy featuring a different South Park character as my avatar, just because there are a lot to pick from, and the construction-paper appearance looks fairly clean on the forum. That, and I don't have to pretend that I put much thought into them.

I used to have a bunch of help related signature links, but after a while I really doubted that they benefited anyone significantly. Although, a reminder of documentation centers (wiki/UDSF) probably prevents a lot of unnecessary posts.

When Christmas is done, I will probably go back to a blank signature. More space for reading posts.

as you know there are many things that you are NOT allowed to talk about at ubuntu forums, so rich made a forum that you can talk about almost ANYTHING (except posing spam) , god, sex, drugs, everything you can think about.

Linux For Clinics - is a project to make a Linux distro for clinics with every free open sourced program we can find for clinics.
in this place you can talk about doctors/medical stuff and contribute\find a programs that could be added to the project which will be Free to use and change.
(I am not active in this project at this time but it's a great project run by a friend of mine and a member of ubuntuforums and mod-free Charlie.

Wow, this has put me on a mission to make my signature a bit better, but anyway; mine's really easy, I have the links to register at Ubuntu Counter, Linux counter, for people encouraging them to stand up and wave the penguin proudly around! My sig is merely a demonstration that sigs should be small, compact and ignorable if they're to be there at all, which in general they might as well not be.

I absolutely HATE inconsiderate, space-hogging, graphics-laden sigs that do nothing but add to the difficulty of reading a thread.

It's so bad on some boards that I've had to turn off sigs completely because for some stupid, five-word post, I have to scroll through about 20% of a screen's worth of idiocy and animated .GIFs. I'm working on a theory that sig size is inversely proportional to user value, but I haven't quite gotten it finalized. ;)

My signature stayed the same for a long time and then I removed it and slowly added some things back and finally decided in the end to put as much information as I could. Some people have told me they got a lot of useful information from those links, so I figured I should leave them.

At this moment in time, mine just has a link to my howto and a comment related to the Fluxbox menu on Gutsy Gibbon. I used to have a number of Fluxbox-related links, but I had to trim my signature down to include the comment (I was over the forum limit). Oh well.
