This is a cool animated Userbar....made by Benjamin Southall aka Appleman1234.


I have managed to make an animated Userbar for myself (I compiled all the images and used gimp’s animation abilities ). See below.

You can make animations with gimp? :confused:Animations are sequences of images, and you can create those with Gimp ;)
(And export them to a animated gif via a plugin)

Erm, yes, I never thought about that.

Can GIMP do animations?

You can animate in GIMP. The only way I know how to do it (this is kind of a pain) is to put a different cell on each layer and then export to gif.

You can also install the gimp animation package.

By the way, I didn't like that site that was linked to at all.

Didn't like it in what way, because if you mean the design of the site it is awful.

You can make animations with gimp? :confused:yes there is actually a photoshop tutorial on how to do this that can be applied to GIMP

Kind of a pain? You're nutz! Try using Adobe Imageready sometime. It boggles the mind. :D

(i was the one that added the "crazy" :D)really? I picked it up from a Sabayonlinux.org forum user...I love the crazy addition.....Thank You.

The animated userbar also from the same forum was made by Benjamin Southall aka Appleman1234.

i made it for myself (back in the days of the old beryl forum)...and from there it obviously spread :D :D
