Just curious as to whether or not anyone's had much success with the above. I've been looking into PyMusique and GTKPod, and they seem to be fairly nice tools... anyone using an iPod, particularly with Ubuntu, or perhaps another MP3 player that works well?

Had lots of success. I like GtkPod more than iTunes. Its easy to set up (tell it to automount).

Awesome... many thanks! Only thing that's really kept me from an MP3 player so far is that so many of the online stores require Windows Media Player, and I'm trying to find reasons to move away from XP completely!

PyMusique seems to be a really awesome tool... hopefully Apple won't try and break it again, as it only represents more revenue for them.
