Anyone know of any good g++ related syntax coding forums for C++?
Mind for linux programmers, not windows?

For _standard_ C++ only (not Linux-specific stuff):
http://groups-beta.google.com/group/comp.lang.c++/

..for Linux-related (Linux-specific C++ - and other languages) programming:
http://groups-beta.google.com/group/comp.os.linux.development.apps/

Consider getting a news/usenet-reader; the google-interface can be somewhat clunky sometimes.

Forget that, those arn't forums, and it's really ugly. I cannot find anything on the main page there about C++...

err .. what? you'll find authors of computer books at usenet -- the most knowledgeable (and useless, of course) people you'll _ever meet_ hang there

now what was it you wanted again?

..and try not to act like like a friggin spoiled brat; it makes you look "unworthy of any serious consideration"

Ask here and we'll see what we can do.

As long as they are well formed questions, you should get decent answers.

Also as far as C++ goes, some of the most knowledgable people I know hang out on some mailing lists associated with ACCU (see sig).

I know you said not windows, but microsoft.public.vc.language on usenet has some very knowledgable people on it who are always helpful. While there is a lot of windows questions there is quite a bit of general c/c++ as well and I often have a browse through it and learn a bit from the solutions posted. DB
