Never seen this before from a webhosting company. Making quite a bit of noise about using Ubuntu. This is really good.

what is nice is the way their linux offerings are cheaper. because at the end of the day they are cheaper to manage and buy new ones than their windows machines. (trust me I'm done admin maintenance on both at ungodly hours I wouldn't want windows servers)

This is good for Ubuntu. The nice thing is that its taking pride of place on their homepage too.

Nice! I use GoDaddy and they have the option to use a Linux server (which I selected), but it doesn't tell you much more. I used to use Netfirms. They had nothing on their site about what OS they used. I sent them an e-mail asking, and to my surprise, they replied telling me they use FreeBSD. I switched because GoDaddy was close to the same price, and offered more space.
