I'm planning to visit Philadelphia, PA in a few weeks. Do you know what to see, where to go etc? Any pointers (the linux style :) )?

hmm not sure about (Linux Style) in Philly, but Philly is an awesome town! Old town has some of the best shops and places to eat on the East Coast...and Philly is full of history....be sure and go to the US Mint...Independence Hall..both near old town....also be sure and eat at City Tavern....across the street is a great Bed and Breakfast...my wife and I stayed there when we first visited Philly together.

A must is to go to the Italian section and get a world famous Philly CheeseSteak....if you have time pick up a show also....Chinatown and the waterfront are cool....again I would try to stay in or near Old Town.

Try the City Market for lunch and then see the Franklin Institute (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Franklin_Institute).
