I have a pair of Sennheiser HD280's, And I primairily use them because I have a roomate and can't crank my music. Now the sound of these headphones ever since I got them, Has been second to none I have ever experienced; But I am pretty sure it could be better. I have a spare 100$ (A bit flexibility but I'm still just experimenting with the idea of spending it).
I'm looking into sound cards, And I'm a bit of a dunce in that catagory; I was also considering getting a headphone amp or something now or later on if I can afford it.
I mainly use my sound for music, And occasionally gaming. Linux support would be a big bonus. I read alot of the FAQ's but I just wanted to hear what you guys thought I would get the most benefit from; I'm using onboard sound right now:

Im sure there's some hardcore audio buffs in this community, I just wanted to get some input from as many people as possible. Thanks.
