With Sarge now frozen will the Ubuntu 5.10 - "Breezy Badger" release be based on it? Or is it to late too get this going? Breezy Badger is due out in Oct and Sarge is targeting May 30th for it's official release of Sarge. :-k

AFAIK the Ubuntu devs will continue to pull primarily from the SID repos.

Ubuntu has been, and will always be based on Sid. Testing and stable move too slow....

Thanks for the info guys. That makes sense. I wasn't aware Ubuntu was based on SID. However, do to the pace at which Debian does releases I can definately see why. Thanks again... :)

Stable is very slow, while Unstable is often more cutting-edge than other distributions....
