View Full Version : Has anyone tried the support from Canonical?

Hello! At work we're considering buying a file server, and among the options offered there would be one without OS to customize as we see fit. Seeing that we already have a lot to do (we're a research group, not IT) I thought I could turn to the official Canonical support for the server. Has anyone ever used Canonical paid support? If so, how was it?

To be honest, I've never heard from anyone who subscribed to Canonical's support. I think that might be a phenomenon of the forum though -- most of the people who ask for help here aren't subscribing to Canonical, and most of the people who subscribe to Canonical probably won't ask for help here.

You could always ask Canonical if they can refer you to a company that pays for their services, and then ask that company directly what they think.
