Hi would anyone know of a c/c++ forum quite like this ubuntu forum?? Any good forums where beginners could start out and ask questions and progress to an expert level???Thanks

There are some extremely knowledgable members there who can provide some amazing help (if you are willing to put some effort into it).

Apart from here, I don't read any other programming forums.

I would suggest getting involved with an organisation like ACCU (http://accu.org). We do have a general mailing list that has many extremely knowledgable people on it, and there are other lists for those starting out.

Yes it costs money (except for accu-general mailing list which is open), but I think it is worth it.
