i created a video synopsis of the "classes" i attended at linuxfest.

corey burger from the doc team presented on ubuntu. i put in all that my camera recorded of his talk.

i whipped up the video file using kino and it is in the ogg theora/vorbis format for open codec viewing.

if you have a server with more space than i do, i can re-encode the file in a higherbit rate so everything is not fuzzy. check it out here:

http://cs.georgefox.edu/~jdodson/videos.php

go down the page and get the "linuxfest video" file. right click "save as"

Cool. We spell our first names the same way. Very popular name:

You did a good job. I want to try Kino now.

Good to hear about new artwork and better driver support for Ubuntu. Especially im talking about getting broadcom drivers (needed for PPC and many new XP wireless cards)

Not complaining but its gets a little choppy at the end. otherwise great.

yeah, it was a kino and a editor(my) error. i am learning as i go. kino is a bit different than anything i have used before. its not bad, just different. i think it is a very able program that is getting much better as time goes on. in warty i could not do ANY effects, now i can do wipes, fades, titles and sound overlays!

Kino looks nice. I thought it was a KDE app with that name....
