As long as this can stay free of politics, I'll move it back to the cafe....just means that mods will have to keep a close eye on the thread....if political post are made they can be collected in a seperate thread in the backyard or jailed all together....

I'll move it back to the cafe,;)

OK if your really looking to meet Ubuntu users in Israel to hear news from them, I think you would have better luck contacting the Israel Ubuntu Loco Team leader...

If this is your real intent?

Again I will leave this thread open in the cafe...with the stipulation that the OP is really looking to meet Ubuntu users from Israel...to hear news directly from them...

My best advice to you is to contact: SivanGreen (https://wiki.ubuntu.com/SivanGreen) who is the Team Leader of the Ubuntu Israel Country Team:
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/IsraeliTeam

(I noticed that The Israeli Team does not have a forum, so they would qualify for a Team forum here at Ubuntu Forums but the Team leader would have to contact the Administration with a request.)

This thread will only be effective if it is used for it's true intent..Ubuntu users to meet each other...you can then post your IM's and and exchange news...

This will not be a thread that burns in a political flame war....so all trolls be fair warned...

oops. sorry. i thought the OP was wanting 'inside' information as to what is really going on around that area. i thought that the link to the video that i posted gave a glimpse into what is really going on there, as i have never even knew that that sort of thing goes on there. i personally thought that it was informative.
ahhh well, apologies.

will do :)
i would be lying if i said that i didn't have second thoughts. the original link that i got from when it was posted on digg had inappropriate language, so i had to put "pallywood" back into google video search so that the inappropriate language didn't show up. i also thought that it was bordering on contentious, but that it served the purpose of helping to answer the OP's question (or so i believe). however, its true that i have a bias, but i don't think the video contained any 'wrong' information. because i(and probably most others) never knew that that sort of thing goes on there, i decided to post it for the value of its insight into things which are not normally seen in the media.

Sry i didnt get a chance to get back and check this thread for reply till just now.

I have no intent for starting a verbal war in the forums the info i'm asking about is just for me and my family, so if it shouldnt be posted in cafe like you said just PM me with it, also if something comes up that it has to get moved back to backyard is fine, at least now i know where to look :)

I thought the pallywood video was very informative thanks, and that is the sort of thing im looking for - as you might call inside info, but I will be contacting the ubuntu Israel team as well I've just been to busy to check all the links and follow up on the things you had said, thats why i tend to just make quick threads.

any site with unbiased news from israel?

any site with unbiased news from israel?

please clarify your contributing question?

not sure how your post is contributing to the OP's request?

no one here as mentioned anything about biased or unbiased anything here...

If you know of Ubuntu users in Israel and want to add to the thread then do so...but to post a vague potentially inflamatory question is not productive.

Again...this thread will not result in a flame war.

hehe rav, sorry that you have to keep a hawkeye on this thread I should have thought more carefully before posting i suppose. :)

@iPower if you're asking if thats what i'm looking for, then no not really, I was actually looking for current residents of Israel to talk to, but I think most of my questions have been answered, but if you have anything you want to share, PM me or if it's thread safe, go for it

The reason for fake news are that, news are not coming to USA in the original form. They are modified in the desired way.To know the real news i would suggest an Israeli News (http://samsonblinded.org/news/)
Channel or Website. This is the only way to get the exact news.
