GTK themes.

Gosh I really feel like a simpleton asking this, I'm not even sure how to exactly.

But is there some kind of program around for editing your GTK2 themes? I really love a theme I am using but wouldn't mind tweaking bits of it, or even trying a hand at making my own.

I tried google but surprisingly I didn't find much.
