i've seen a few dudes on this forum with Shake avatars (in fact, that's what mine was before i switched it to the alice-in-wonderland caterpillar), so i know that we at least have a few aqua teen fans in our community.

Lighten up. It was meant as a joke. I didn't know this poll on ubuntuforums meant serious dissertation of ATHF.

Voted for "Jump the Shark". It's not just that product placement is a HUGE pet peeve of mine (everyone in this forum has rejected corporate influence in at least one big way, so we have that in common), but the quality of the show has definately gone down hill. A great example was this past sunday. First, I watched the new episode, and barely laughed at all. Then, afterwards, they replayed the one where the Cybernetic Ghost of Christmas Past from the Future comes back as a turkey, and I was laughing hysterically throughout the whole thing. Big contrast in quality and style there.

I like ATHF. But I haven't watched it in a year or two. When I watch a TV show every day I get in the "groove" of watching it. But somewhere along the way I got out of the groove and never started again. I'm thinking about buying the DVD's to get my fix.

I'm sorry, I just can't help it. Carl is the funniest character alive. Just how he talks, what he says, how he sounds, and his attitude is great. Living in the ghetto I know guys like him...just not White lol. I love him and I will never ever EVER get tired of him.

As for shake. I seen a porn where a guy had a tattoo of Shake with the Chainsaws like on the cover of the 3rd season DVD. I couldn't finish watching the scene with him. I just laughed insanely at his shake tattoo LOL

two years? then you haven't missed too much. the dvd's will definitely get your fix. however, i was severly unimpressed with the "bonus" material they include. but then again, that's just a cheap marketing gimmick and always has been.

I'll be honest, I can't stand that show. It seems like nowadays there's so many cheaply created shows with really base humor. it doesn't make me laugh, but just gives me a headache. drones on and on in my head. and the content is just so stupid (not saying this in an offensive way to anyone who likes the show...maybe "pointless" is the word I'm looking for). Is stupid even funny anymore? But don't flame me, it's just my opinion. I respect that some people can enjoy the show.

I love this show. I see your point about being pointless. There are other shows that I think to myself, how could they give air time to these people. For ATHF, I love the pointless and brain dead antics of the charachters. The show makes me forget about bad things that happen during the day. Where I am coming from, I love shows like ATHF, 12oz mouse, airplane, scary movie. The more brain dead the better for me. I am watching T-shirt of the dead on my ipod right now.:D
