Been reading up on SED technology and I must say the future looks great. I'll be sticking with my 22" CRT for now until SED becomes affordable.

Light-emission efficiency key to low power consumption
Low power consumption is another feature of SEDs. They convert electrical energy into light with higher emission efficiency than other displays, resulting in power consumption lower than not just CRTs, but also LCDs and plasma displays. The SED is an environmentally friendly display to meet today’s energy-conservation needs.

Let's hope that's true.
