Someone mentioned YouTube last night on the forums. I was at work, in front of a broadband PC, so went to check it out. Searched "linux laptop" and "linux install". There were dozens of videos.

Some were so rough as to be nearly unusable & some were talking heads instead of showing the on-screen action. Regardless, I thought there was a lot of potential.

Anyone have any thoughts on this? Some of the videos appeared to be screen captures (how was that done?) and were fairly sharp but most were just a camcorder pointed at the monitor. How one would go about showing the computer screen as clearly as possible?

I'm thinking about bookmarking the best of 'em for use on the forums. This could be viewed as discriminatory because those without broadband are left out.

Thanks, Old Pink. Will have to wait to look at that until I'm at work again.
