That's a nice (and wide!) picture you've got there, burek.

I live in a suburb of Greenville, South Carolina:

Sorry for the relatively large pictures, but I couldn't resist. This is a far cry from a complete picture set that would describe the country completely. Still, hope you get the picture of polar bears strolling on the streets out of your head.

My city, Toronto, isn't really all that beautiful. But here are some photos I took of Canadian nature, just a few hours away from the city by car:

ok, here's some pics from my place. The first is in downtown, the
"Bohemian" part of the city (i.e. all the parties happen here);
Lapa. The second is from my neighborhood, a nice place to escape the
office for a quiet lunch; Palacio do Catete. The third is how most
people see Rio de Janeiro: sun and beach. This one in particular is
the famous Ipanema.

PS: Just want to mention that I took the pics myself.
One of my hobbies is photography 8)

Now, the pics where you are able to see a mountain range and the pic inside a cathedral are from Bogota, Colombia's capital. The other two are from a fort known as "El Castillo de San Felipe" in Cartagena.

Hi there,

Do you live near Quechee? I studied at Dartmouth nearby and used to go to the Gorge a lot. Love that area. Now I live in the beautiful Xishuangbanna (or Banna) in Yunnan, China (close to Thailand). Attached is Banna's scene.

Kronborg Castle or fortress which is what it actually is. One of the castles that lie a few kilometers from where I live in the old mediaeval city of Helsingør - or Elsinore in English. It's the castle where Shakespeare's Hamlet takes place ("Something is rotten in the state of Denmark..." etc.).

Not much to see here in Jacksonville, NC (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jacksonville,_North_Carolina), but it's a nice place to live.

This is my favorite picture from the area... of course, I don't get out much ;)

I get to see this everyday, I forget sometimes how beautiful this place is.

The most visited park in the US is the Great Smoky Mountains NP, it is also suffering from pollution in the air and many of the oldest trees are dying.

There are too many photos to show anywhere since this is such a scenic place.
