Hi,
I'm running fluxbox as my preferred GUI. Doing so because it's small, fast and in first place because I really can customize the desktop to fit my needs (menues, icons, ...).
I want to run 2 applications during startup of the WM. This is done by editing ~/.Xsession. I've looked over the gdm startup scripts and there is a decision somewhere if the user .Xsession is allowed. Seems Ubundu disables this by default. My Xsession file is without effect.
Does anyone here know if this is true and if so how to enable this?
