Hi, A School I would like to go to requires a Lenovo T60. Im wondering how well bluetooth, and wifi work out of the box and how hard it is to get everything working.

which wireless mini-pci card do have?

my T42 has a/b/g which worked perfectly otb on both breezy + dapper.

however, on the edgy "live" it again works otb but only partially. I am able to connect to the internet, but NOT to any other box (at least on my home network) nor can i access my router (or even successfully ping it). as a result, i have remained on dapper on that box...no prob as dapper works beautifully on it.

The T60 is officially supported by Lenovo on SLED.

Actually, it is the T60p ;)

The ThinkVantage programs, however, can run on both T60's and X60/s's, so it doesn't really matter much. I'll bet they can run on the R and Z series too.

Everything seemed to work out-of-box last time I used the Edgy RC liveCD on my dad's T60.
