Canonical, the commercial sponsor of Ubuntu, is holding a series of online workshops where you can:

learn about the Ubuntu landscape
talk to some of the key developers from the Ubuntu project
find out about the Community and its relationship with Canonical
participate in an open Q&A with Mark Shuttleworth, the founder of Ubuntu
much more...

These sessions are happening via IRC, from 17:00 onwards (SA time).

This is a great opportunity to find out more about how to get involved in Ubuntu!

See UbuntuOpenWeek (https://wiki.ubuntu.com/UbuntuOpenWeek) for details.

Jono Bacon's blog (http://www.jonobacon.org/?p=829) has the announcement.

The sessions are logged. Somebody is cleaning up the IRC logs and posting them here: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/MeetingLogs - see the Ubuntu Open Week section.
