It's new site dedicated strictly to beryl goodies, it's just getting going, but it's kinda neat.

Also included are:

1. The background image shown in the screenshot

2. The Icons used in the screenshot, obtained from gnome-look, which can be installed by dragging the gnome-prisoner.tar.gz file into the "themes" program found under system>preferences>theme. Then, just set up your own custom gnome theme with the new icons in that same program (I also suggest the clearlooks control scheme.)

3. A .deb of build 160 of Avant-Window-Navigator (The bar at the bottom of my screenshot.) Copy-pate the contents of the included avant-dependencies text file into a terminal BEFORE installing the .deb of Avant. Install at your own risk! I haven't made .debs very often so that one might not even be half-baked. Avant REQUIRES a composite manger (such as Beryl 0.2, which is what I compiled it against) to be running. Compiled for Edgy Eft users only!

4. A copy of the excellent Ubuntu Forums post by FunnyLookinHat describing how to compile your own Avant Window Navigator should my .deb fail. You can find said post here:

all said and done...but how do i install themes in emerald...when i click on the download tab..all i get is the wallpaper and nothing else ! :(

Redesigned the theme "Dark Human" from Kejar31 with "Emerald Theme Manager". This with compiz makes a lovely combo.

Using one of the MAC OSX wallpapers with tones of red, purple, yellow + the glass edges finally made the "yes" cut.

I'm just pondering on how to transform the panels now to make it suit the rest of the theme.

EDIT: Found Vista-Panels ... that has a nice feel to them.

I don't beryl or compiz, I just threw it all together. I made the wallpaper also.
