Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer has said that every user of the open source Linux system could owe his company money for using its intellectual property. - The Register
My buddy Tristan over at the Chicago GNU/LUG posted a link tonight from The Register with an article about Microsoft, Novell, and Linux code. It seems that the recent deal with Microsoft and Novell saves the customers, but what about the people who work their asses off making the products those customers have come to know and love?
Well, how about this. Steve Ballmer believes he is owed money for all of our hard work, lets send him the money he is owed.
