In search for a gewd ssh client for gnome...
any suggestions?

[Scratching head.] Gnome terminal is probably all you need. It's a matter of knowing what to type to access the remote computer.

You can mount ssh in nautilus if that is what you are thinking about, then it integrates seemlessly with your GNOME.
Places->Connect to server...

all I do is open up a konsole and type ssh user@hostip
Are you talking about remote console access or remote file browsing?

I like PuTTY. It's in the repos, I think.
