I currently have an NVIDIA Geforce FX 5500, but I'm looking for a good (less than $100) video card which will play well with Beryl. Unfortunately, it has to be an AGP card.

I'm currently leaning towards something like this though:

Any help is greatly appreciated! :D

The best AGP (](*,) ) card you could find close to $100 would be a 7600GS.
If you were on a PCI-E system you could get a 7600GT - for even less than the 7600GS you posted!
And the performance difference is significant.

If you only wan't it for playing with beryl there is no need to go for the gt, you can even settle for the 6600 series and get good performance. But if you don't plan on buying a new computer and wan't to play some games you could always buy a 7600gt agp

So you think something like this (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814127164) will be alright? Anyone know if this card supports widescreen resolutions? I need a card that supports widescreen resolutions since I have my eye on a new widescreen LCD monitor.

ALL modern cards will support widescreen resolutions, not something to worry about.

Take your pick from any of these cards:
