Themes and boots

What themes and boots can i use from: http://www.gnome-look.org/ for ubuntu? And how do I install them?

For themes, you can download any of the GTK 2.x themes, they will be in a tar.gz format, after you download them, open System>Preferences>Theme and drag the tar.gz file into the Theme Window and now its installed!

I cant see any glass themes :( and can you use GTK 1.x and the others?

Not sure if you can use GTK 1.x, but you can use the Metacity themes and icon themes the same way as I said above, and you can use GDM themes (the login screen) basically the same way, but go to >System>Administration>Login Window instead.
