These are meant to be amusing and silly, not rude or mean. (I can't believe I actually felt the need to say that...or that I don't actually ascribe to any of these as worthwhile philosophies to live by...they just made me laugh.) If you have one you would like to add please post it.

I got the initial list here (http://www.jumbojoke.com/inspirational_posters_for_the_cubicle_era_820.html ).

- Rome did not create a great empire by having meetings; they did it by killing all those who opposed them.
- If you can stay calm while all around you there's chaos, then you probably haven't completely understood the seriousness of the situation.
- Doing a job right the first time gets the job done. Doing the job wrong 14 times gives you job security.
- Eagles may soar, but weasels don't get sucked into jet engines.
- Artificial Intelligence is no match for Natural Stupidity (with apologies to our wonderful staff person, A.I.).
- A person who smiles in the face of adversity probably has a scapegoat.
- Plagiarism saves time.
- Never put off until tomorrow what you can avoid altogether.
- Teamwork means never having to take all the blame yourself.
- We waste time, so you don't have to.
- Hang in there, retirement is only 30 years away!
- Go the extra mile. It makes your boss look like an incompetent slacker.
- A snooze button is a poor substitute for no alarm clock at all.
- When the going gets tough, the tough take a coffee break.
- Indecision is the key to flexibility.
- Aim Low, Reach Your Goals, Avoid Disappointment.

Those are good. I used to have a manager that put up motivational junk everywhere. I was forced to get a bunch of de-motivational posters from despair.com to try to offset the cutsie-ness.

behind every great man stands an amazed mother-in-law.

(btw, 'mother-in-law' is an anagram for 'woman hitler'.)

This appeared in the book Mascerade by Terry Prattchet (translated):

Here's one I saw on somebody's .sig somewhere:

"Everything I need to know, I learned by killing smart people and eating their brains"

Thanks, These really made me laugh.
At my work they have a ton of these motivational pictures.
I remember one that said something about soaring like and eagle and raching new highs.
So I put a post-it note on it that said:
"It's hard to soar like and eagle when you work with a bunch of turkeys."
I say my bosses boss walk up and look at it later in the day and kind of look around and pull the note off the pic. It was really sweet.
Sorry for the long winded story just wanted to share.

The sum of the intelligence of a crowd is the lowest appearing value divided by the number of crowd members.
This is absolutely true for rock audiences and lynch mobs.
